Dr. Brenda J. Mason graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 1994. Dr. Brenda has been caring for families, athletes and business people in the Yaletown area for 15 years. She obtained her Honours Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Bachelor of Education degrees, and prior to practicing Chiropractic, taughtsecondary school Biology. Dr. Brenda feels strongly that Chiropractic is one of the best ways to optimize one's health potential, performance and quality of life. She leads a very active lifestyle; and has played volleyball, basketball and ultimate Frisbee extensively. She also enjoys snowboarding and more recently, skate skiing. Training for triathlons keeps her busy and she recently completed her second Ironman race. Her dog Ruby visits the office some days. Dr. Brenda was a director for the Board of Chiropractors of BC from 2003 to 2006. As well, she has given a number of talks in the community over the years on varied topics such as whiplash, posture & ergonomics, stress reduction and arthritis. Dr. Brenda also attends many seminars; with special focus on athletics, whiplash injuries and health and wellness. She has completed a one year course for certification in pediatric and pre-natal Chiropractic through the ICPA, and is certified in Webster Technique. Dr. Brenda enjoys working with all sorts of people, and believes that everyone needs a good Chiropractor - one that they can rely on and build an ongoing relationship with. Her chiropractic technique has evolved with her clinical experience. There are many different ways of making adjustments, so Dr. Brenda mixes several styles, depending on what is most appropriate for the person she is working with. She practices mainly hands-on (Diversified) and is also proficient in Torque Release technique. She has been using Thompson technique (table drop pieces), SOT and the Activator instrument adjusting protocols over the past 15 years. Her mission, through Chiropractic, is to aid anyone and everyone in enhancing their body's innate capacities, allowing them the fullest expression of life possible. OUR TEAM:
